Let's Go! is a partnership project led by Let's Go Outside & Learn CIC, working with the Community Recovery Service (CRS), Hounslow Falls Prevention and Bone Health Service, and Hounslow Enhanced Dementia Care Service. The project models a new approach to supporting people at risk of social isolation through nature-based activities.
Nature Buddy Volunteer Programme: Our friendly Nature Buddies help individuals achieve their health and social recovery goals through gentle walking and outdoor activities, chosen together. Volunteers support people one-on-one, helping them build confidence and move towards joining group walks.
Fresh Air and Friendship Group Walks: We offer twice-weekly accessible local group walks, open to self-referrals. These walks are designed to help people get out into nature, meet new friends, and improve their wellbeing.

Get involved: If you love being outdoors and want to help others discover green spaces, consider volunteering as a Nature Buddy. No specific work experience is required, just a commitment of 1-3 hours per week and a passion for helping others.

We take referrals for people at risk of social isolation. Nature Buddies are Outdoor First Aid trained and experienced at providing access to all kinds of people. We cannot accept those currently without any physical independence, and we do require that participants are in a supported or stable place if they have ongoing primary mental health or physical conditions. Get in contact to find out more about our inclusions and exclusions.
We can provide language support for those with language barriers.
