Recovery Writing Group at the Edge Cafe

This safe, supportive group is designed to help you express yourself through writing prompts, guided by an experienced facilitator. Whether you’re looking to reduce stress, build confidence, or simply spend time with others in a relaxed setting, this group offers a gentle way to connect and grow.

  • Meets weekly on Fridays, 2.15 – 3.15pm at the Edge Cafe, with the option to join online via Zoom (ID: 892 5883 6870, Password: writing).
  • Open to anyone aged 16+ – no previous writing experience needed.
  • Free to attend, both in person and online.
  • No booking required – just come along to any session you wish.
  • All materials are provided, and you’re welcome to share your writing, but there’s never any pressure.
  • Enjoy a supportive atmosphere, genuine feedback, and a sense of achievement.
  • Accessible facilities available, including an accessible toilet.
  • Food and drink can be purchased from the Cafe.
