The Caryl Thomas Clinic provides a full range of free and confidential sexual health and contraception services. This includes routine and emergency contraception (pills, injections, implants, coils, patches, diaphragm), pregnancy testing, and comprehensive testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, syphilis, and mpox. The clinic also offers HIV treatment, specialist services for LGBTQ+ populations, Hepatitis B and HPV vaccinations (for men who have sex with men), and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEPSE) to prevent HIV.
Services are available for everyone, with specific messaging advice for 13-19 year olds living in Brent, Ealing, Harrow, or Hillingdon. Those aged 18 and under can attend walk-in clinics at any time during opening hours.
Services are delivered in-person at the clinic located at Headstone Drive, Wealdstone, Harrow, HA1 4UQ. Walk-in clinics are available on Wednesdays from 1:30pm to 5pm. Appointments can be booked online, by calling 020 3893 8575, or by emailing LNWH-tr.HarrowISRH@nhs.net for an assessment. Young people (13-19) can also text 07312 263 856 or use Chat Health for advice.
Additionally, residents of Brent, Ealing, and Harrow can order free home STI testing kits and free contraception for discreet delivery or in-store collection.
