Our service is free of charge and designed to help individuals and families navigate the dementia journey with confidence and dignity.
- Personalised One-to-One Support: Receive tailored information and advice, emotional support, and practical strategies to help you live well with dementia. Support is available face-to-face in your home, at Dementia Support Clinics, over the phone, or online.
- Post Diagnostic Information Sessions: Weekly online and face-to-face sessions provide essential information about dementia, symptom management, planning ahead, and local services.
- Memory Cafes and Social Groups: Join our Memory Cafes, peer groups, and social activities such as walking, gardening, and trips out to connect with others and enjoy meaningful experiences.
- Informal Carer Learning: Families and informal carers can access learning sessions to gain knowledge and skills for supporting loved ones with dementia. Topics include understanding dementia, support strategies, managing money, planning for the future, self-care, and more. Ad hoc sessions cover First Aid, Mindfulness, and Moving & Handling.
- Access to Other Services: We help you connect with health, social care, and community resources to ensure you have the support you need.
