Our service is provided by dedicated volunteer drivers using their own vehicles, ensuring you can reach your essential medical appointments safely and on time. ### Costs and How It Works - **Eligibility**: Available to all local residents who have difficulty using public transport. - **Fees**: - **Registration Fee**: £30 (one-time payment) - **Annual Fee**: £25 per person, payable to Swale CVS for administrative costs. - **Journey Cost**: 50p per mile, with a minimum charge of £5.00, plus an additional £1 admin charge per journey. ### Booking Information To utilize the service, please follow these steps: 1. **Contact Us**: Call us at **01795 473828** (select option 1) or email **zoe.deveson@swalecvs.co.uk**. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 09:30 AM to 3:30 PM. 2. **Provide Details**: When booking, inform us of any mobility aids and the anticipated duration of your appointment. 3. **Driver Coordination**: All trips must be arranged through our office to ensure insurance coverage. Your driver can wait for you for up to 2 hours during your appointment. ### Important Notes If you experience an urgent situation (e.g., your driver is late or your appointment is canceled), please contact us via option 5.
