Royston Day Centre

Royston Day Centre is locally known as 'The Old Barn' and was purpose-built for access by senior citizens and the disabled. The Day Centre provides a friendly atmosphere where up to 25 older disabled or housebound clients can meet and socialise each day. A cooked meal is available, and various recreational activities take place.

Day care sessions are on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, and a drop-in on alternate Mondays. Other groups who use the Centre include carers and self-help groups, Stroke Support and Speech Therapy, Royston Lions, Royston Share Club, Royston Homestart, Royston Volunteer Bureau, Royston Community Transport, William Lee Charity, Garden House Hospice and the Cloisters Management Association.
