The Transgender Mentor Scheme offers free, confidential, one-to-one peer support for transgender individuals from trained mentors with lived experience. Mentors and mentees can meet online or face-to-face across Staffordshire, with a flexible schedule and environment tailored to individual needs. To access the service, individuals can self-refer, or be referred by a parent/guardian or a professional.

Service access criteria:
This scheme is available to individuals who:
- Identify as transgender and are aged 16 or above. This includes anyone whose gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth.
- Live in Staffordshire. Our focus is on providing support within the local community.
- Agree to uphold our values. All participants are expected to demonstrate respect and inclusivity towards others within the programme, adhering to Project 93's values of acceptance and understanding.
