The Guild for Lifelong Learning offers a wide range of adult education courses and social activities designed to support wellbeing, encourage active citizenship, and reduce social isolation in East Cheshire.
Our curriculum includes:
- Community learning courses in arts, languages, IT, health & wellbeing, fitness, crafts, and more
- Commercial training such as Emergency First Aid at Work, Mental Health in the Workplace, and Child and Young Persons Mental Wellbeing
- Social clubs, events, trips, cinema, lectures, and writing groups
- Distance learning options for flexible study
Everyone is welcome to join our friendly and supportive community. We offer both online and onsite courses, with enrolments open for the 2025-26 academic year starting Monday 8th September 2025.
Our Café and Gallery@TheGuild is open weekdays in term time from 10am to 3pm, providing a warm space to enjoy affordable food and celebrate student artwork. The gallery is available to book for solo and group shows.

We are a registered charity dedicated to lifelong learning and community wellbeing. Donations help us provide more opportunities throughout Cheshire East.
The charity is truly inclusive, all activities are available to adults aged 18+ (please ask about exceptions)
