The YLF Legends Programme offers a fun, supportive, and safe environment for disadvantaged and socially excluded young people across Kent. Through regular groups, activities, and trips, Legends helps young people build confidence, make friends, and experience new opportunities.
What We Offer:
- Weekly and fortnightly youth groups in Medway, Thanet, Sittingbourne, and Gravesham
- Half-term and seasonal activities, day trips, and camping weekends
- Educational opportunities and life skills development
- Mentoring and informal 1-to-1 support available
- Activities tailored to group interests, including sports, cooking, arts and crafts, games consoles, outdoor adventures, and more
Programme Outcomes:
- Reduce isolation and prevent anti-social behaviour
- Encourage pro-social behaviours and community engagement
- Help young people broaden horizons, build self-esteem, and learn new skills
Who Can Join?
- Young people aged 7-18 (age range varies by group)
- Groups available in Medway, Thanet, Sittingbourne, and Gravesham
- Support for those requiring local authority support or experiencing disadvantage/social exclusion
Graduation: At age 18, participants graduate with a special goodie bag and are invited to return as volunteers.
Cost: The Legends Programme is free for young people, funded by grants and donations.

Ages: 8-18 who are level 2 threshold and low level 3. Displaying low level anxiety, low resilience, confidence, vulnerable, NEET or risk of becoming NEET. If you are not sure if the group setting is appropriate for the young person's needs please call us to discuss.
