The Zinthiya Trust works to alleviate poverty and abuse in Leicester and Leicestershire. We offer a holistic range of services designed to support women and vulnerable people to live free from violence, abuse, and poverty.
Our mission is to help people transform their lives through education, skills development, and employment, while providing practical support to reduce isolation and financial hardship.
- One-to-one support for women fleeing abuse and honour-based violence
- Money, debt, and energy advice – accredited by the Financial Conduct Authority
- Emergency food parcels and a community shop selling affordable food, toiletries, and essential items
- School uniforms and shoes for children from families facing financial crisis
- Training, work placements, and volunteering opportunities to improve employability
- Practical support to improve homes and prevent cold-related illnesses
- Emergency support and welfare provision for those in crisis
We are committed to prevention, tackling root causes, and empowering our service users. Our services are accessible to all, including those with no recourse to public funds. We follow up with service users at regular intervals to ensure ongoing support and progression.

We help anyone and everyone irrespective of their background/financial status/immigration status, etc.
There may be some instances where we cannot help but we will do our best to signpost the client to places that can.
In cases of domestic abuse/honour based violence we are only helping women and girls (including any children involved)
