Community Autism Support Service Herefordshire and Worcestershire

In Herefordshire and Worcestershire we offer:

Information, advice and support to autistic adults

As part of our community service, our structured support sessions and group programme (Autism Confident) is available to anyone aged 16+ who identifies as autistic – they may have a diagnosis, awaiting diagnosis, or identify as autistic without having a formal diagnosis.

1:1 sessions are information, advice and guidance based sessions to support an individual through a specific support need. Autism Confident is a 6 week programme for autistic adults, where they can learn about their autism, develop their knowledge and engage in discussions in a small, like-minded group. Both of these services are offered online and in-person.

Additionally, we offer social groups in Worcester, Hereford and Redditch for autistic adults. These groups are open to anyone over the age of 16, who identifies as autistic, and offer a friendly, supportive atmosphere amongst autistic individuals. You can email us for more information or sign up via the relevant links on Eventbrite.

In September 2025, we are offering free webinars for parents & carers of children, teenagers, and young people who have been accepted for assessment on the ASD diagnosis pathway or who have received a diagnosis of autism. There are 7 webinars in the block, each covering a different autism topic. You can book onto these via Eventbrite.

Starting in 2025 we are offering workshops via Microsoft Teams covering topics including Personal Independent Payment and Reasonable Adjustments and a face to face workshop on the Diagnostic Process for autistic adults living in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire area. Check out our Eventbrite page for more details.

For those who would like to keep up-to-date with our service, we offer a quarterly newsletter created by our team, with news of events, testimonials, updates etc – it’s a great way to stay connected with us!

Our services in this region are funded by NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
