Headway North Staffordshire is the leading charity in North Staffordshire dedicated to supporting adults who have experienced an acquired brain injury (ABI), whether from trauma, stroke, tumour, or other causes.
Our centre, Headway House, is located in central Stoke-on-Trent and has been providing help, information, and support for over 30 years. We work with individuals, their carers, and families to maximise rehabilitation opportunities, improve quality of life, and offer respite for loved ones.
What we offer:
- Rehabilitation and support services for adults with ABI
- Information and guidance for carers and families
- Access to occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech & language therapy, and woodwork/workshop activities
- Outreach services and Headway UK Brain Injury ID Cards
How to access our services:
- Referrals are accepted from GPs, social workers, physiotherapists, case workers, and other professionals
- Individuals with ABI, their carers, or families can also self-refer
