Temple St Methodist Church & Community Centre is a lively, community-focused church in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent. Every Thursday morning, we open our doors to everyone in the community for a warm, welcoming experience.
Our Place of Welcome Café runs from 9:30am to 12 noon, offering free drinks and toast to all visitors. It's a great opportunity to relax, meet new people, and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.
- Community Lounge (10am–12 noon): Drop in and chat with our Locality Connector, Julie, for help with a wide range of topics.
- Foodbank Distribution Centre (10am–12 noon): Access essential food support (referral required).
- Free Food Table (10am–12 noon): Fresh bread, fruit, and vegetables provided by FareShare/Tesco, all free of charge.
- Saltbox Money Matters Digital Team (10am–12 noon): Get advice and support on money matters and digital skills.
- Clothes Bank (10am–12 noon): Provided by TWiST (The Women in the Six Towns), offering children's clothes for Foodbank users.
- Chatty Café Table (10am–12 noon): If you're feeling out of sorts, take a seat, enjoy a cuppa, and have a friendly chat with our volunteers.
Everyone is welcome—whether you need practical support, a friendly chat, or just a place to relax. Our team is here to help you connect, get advice, and access essential services in a safe and supportive environment.
