Domiciliary care

East Kent Mencap's Domiciliary Service provides personalised support to people with learning disabilities in their own homes across Thanet, Swale, and Canterbury.

Our friendly team can help with a wide range of personal care tasks, including getting washed and dressed, always respecting your dignity and preferences. We also offer support with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and ironing, making daily life easier and more comfortable.

Beyond home-based support, we encourage and assist individuals to take part in community activities, from enjoying a meal out to going on holiday. Our goal is to help people become as independent as possible, reduce isolation, and improve overall health and well-being. We support the transition from supported living to greater independence, always focusing on your needs and aspirations.
