21 Together runs Communication Groups for children and young people with Down's syndrome, from babies through to young adults. Sessions take place at its Maidstone and Margate centres and focus on speech, language, social communication and practical life skills.
- Support with Makaton signing, interaction techniques and emotional support for babies
- Literacy, numeracy, self-help and social-emotional skills for preschool children
- Language development, social communication and behaviour support for children aged 4 to 7
- Speech and language, friendships, relationships and self-awareness for children aged 7 to 11
- Teen and young adult sessions include smiLE therapy, skills sessions and social time
Cost: Paid, with published costs including £15 per Little Stars session and £150 for the 3-day Summer Speech Club. Financial support may be available if cost is a barrier.
