We hold various Dementia Support Services across the Island for carer's and those living with Dementia.
This is an opportunity to meet others in a similar situation in a friendly and relaxed environment and to access support and advice from trained staff and volunteers. All staff and volunteers are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Dementia Friendly Film Showings
Every 2nd Tuesday of the Month | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Ocean Heights Dedicated Film Room

Join us for our monthly Dementia Friendly Film Screenings, specially designed for those living with dementia and their carers or loved ones. Held in the calm, welcoming environment of the Ocean Heights dedicated film room, these sessions provide a safe and comfortable space to enjoy classic and uplifting films together.

Our screenings feature reduced sound levels, soft lighting, and a relaxed atmosphere where audience members are free to move around or talk if needed—no judgment, just enjoyment.

Please note, this service is not available outside Age UK Sheppey - Head Office's catchment area. We support all residents over the age of 50 across the Isle of Sheppey.
