Podiatry

The North Kent Adult Community Services Podiatry team provides expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health education for adults experiencing foot pain or lower limb problems. Our service is designed for individuals who are at risk of developing acute foot health complications, including infections, ulceration, and amputation.

Who we help: We focus on supporting people with long-term conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease, compromised immune systems, and those undergoing steroid or anticoagulant therapy. We also provide care for biomechanical issues and infection management.

  • Orthotic service for podiatry patients
  • Referral to specialist services when needed

How we deliver care: Our podiatry service is available Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, and is delivered either in clinics or through domiciliary (home) visits for those who need them.

Exclusions:

  • Patients not registered with a GP in Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley, or Swale
  • Patients under 18 years old
  • Patients with a primary diagnosis of mental ill health
  • Patients requiring simple nail care
