What We Offer:
We provide a range of training programmes, workshops and social groups designed to empower, maintain wellness, and promote learning and healthy living so that people can become happier, healthier, more confident and job-ready.
Opportunities include:
- Access to a therapeutic open space and healing centres in the natural environment
- Gardening skills and horticultural classes
- Training programmes and recycling workshops
- Field-to-fork approaches: cooking classes, healthy eating, meal planning and budgeting
- Planting new community growing spaces
- Conservation activities to preserve and promote local biodiversity
- Growing and harvesting produce for local community consumption
- Social events and groups to gain friendships, social skills and develop hobbies
- Volunteering and peer mentoring pathways
We provide a therapeutic growing space and a platform for engagement, helping reduce social isolation and increasing the physical and emotional well-being of Luton’s most vulnerable community members who find local community engagement challenging. We help them develop new skills and promote positive mental, emotional and physical well-being.
