Citizens Advice Thanet is here to help you in times of difficulty. Our professional team understands the challenges people in Thanet face and offers practical support and advice when you need it most.

We help people tackle their problems head-on with free, independent, and confidential advice on a wide range of issues, including:

  • Employment
  • Immigration

Our service is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to find your way forward, no matter who you are or what your problem is. We also work to improve services and policies that affect our clients.

How to access our services:

  • Margate Office: Open for pre-booked appointments only.
  • Ramsgate Office: Drop-in service every Tuesday and Thursday (9.30am-12 noon), Wednesday (12.30pm-3pm). Pre-booked face-to-face appointments available on other days.
  • Community Outreach: Drop-in advice services at different venues across Thanet. Check our website for dates and locations.

We also offer volunteering opportunities for people from all backgrounds. Volunteers benefit from training, experience, and support, and we reimburse expenses.
