Home-Start Medway offers free, confidential home visiting support for families with at least one child under the age of five. Our trained volunteers provide practical and emotional help tailored to your family's needs, right in your own home.
We can help if you are experiencing:
- Loneliness and isolation
- Relationship problems
- Coping with twins, triplets, or several pre-school children
- Illness, disability, or special needs
- Lone parenthood
- Post-natal depression
- Challenges with your child’s behaviour
- Domestic abuse
How it works:
- Support is provided by a trained volunteer who visits you at home.
- We start with an initial visit to discuss your needs and explain our service.
- Our team keeps you informed about progress and outcomes, always respecting confidentiality.
Who can access this service? Families must have at least one child under five and not be currently open to Social Care. You can refer yourself or a professional can refer you (with your permission).
