Octagon Community Pantry

The Octagon Centre is a volunteer-led community hub in Malvern, dedicated to supporting local families and individuals.

We offer a range of projects and services designed to enrich lives, reduce food insecurity, and foster social connection in the Brook Farm area and beyond.

  • Malvern Community Kitchen: Enjoy freshly cooked, healthy early evening suppers every Monday at 4:30pm for families with children.
From September 15th, 2025, all local families with children living at home are welcome—no referral needed. Just come along! If possible, email us in advance to let us know you're coming.
  • Thursday Project: After-school, café-style sessions for families with primary-school-aged children every Thursday (term time) from 3:30–5pm. Includes activities, crafts, games, a light meal, and access to our Community Pantry for a £3 donation.
  • Community and Cafe Pantry: Surplus food project supporting households in need. Fridays 9:30–11am. For a £3 donation, select up to five items from our fridge and pantry, plus a bag of fresh vegetables (subject to availability). Enjoy hot drinks and a friendly café atmosphere to meet others.
  • Thursday Evening Pantry: For those unable to attend Friday sessions, join us Thursdays 5:30–6:30pm for surplus food support.

All services are run by volunteers and aim to create a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone.

Cost: Most services are free to access, with a small £3 donation requested for pantry access.

How to access: Simply come along at the advertised times. For the Community Kitchen, emailing in advance is appreciated but not required. Referral is not needed for families from September 2025 onwards.
