Newham Council's Access to Adult Social Care Team is for adults living in Newham who have care or support needs. The team can discuss your situation, consider whether an assessment is needed, and help you find appropriate support.
- Talk through your needs and concerns with Adult Social Care staff
- Find out whether a care needs assessment may be needed
- Get signposting to local services and activities
- Receive advice about equipment that may help at home
- Be checked for independent advocacy support during the assessment process
- Be considered for short-term reablement support where this is needed
Cost: Adult social care is not free for everyone and depends on your financial situation.
