Get free, impartial and confidential energy advice from Energise Sussex Coast. Our Energy Advice Service helps residents in East Sussex to reduce the cost of electricity, gas, and water bills, save energy, and lower carbon emissions. This service is open to everyone and most people can save money on their bills.
How we can help:
- Billing support, including talking to suppliers to resolve issues
- Advice on the best energy and water tariffs and support schemes you may be eligible for
- Tips and guidance on saving energy and reducing bills
- Freebies such as LED lightbulbs, draught-proofing kits, mould monitors, and energy monitors
- Support accessing free or part-funded insulation and energy efficiency measures
- Boiler replacement or repairs
- Grants for white goods
- Help with energy and water debts
- Home visits from our Energy Adviser to install energy-saving measures like draught proofing
- Advice on upgrading your home's energy efficiency, including solar panels and heat pumps
Through our partners at Hastings Advice and Representation Centre (HARC), we also offer:
- Welfare benefits checks
- Budgeting advice
We also run information events and community drop-ins.
Our service is funded by the British Gas Energy Trust, LEAP Agility ECO, and the National Lottery Community Fund.
