WorkWell provides holistic, personalised support to individuals with physical or mental health conditions that make it harder to stay in or return to employment. We bridge the gap between health and employment services, helping you manage your condition while moving forward in your work life.
This programme is a partnership between the NHS and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Our Goal
To improve your well-being and reduce unemployment caused by health-related challenges—because your health and your career matter.
How it Works
You'll be connected with a Work and Health Coach who will:
- Carry out an initial assessment to understand your health and employment needs
- Develop a personalised plan tailored to your situation
- Offer regular coaching sessions to support your journey
- Refer you to specialist services or our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) if needed
- We’re here to support you—whether that’s managing a health condition at work, planning a return to employment, or staying in your current role.
Who Can Join?
WorkWell is for individuals who:
- Are dealing with a health condition that’s affecting their ability to work
- Are eligible to work in the UK
