WorkWell Coventry & Warwickshire

Coventry and Warwickshire WorkWell is a new initiative designed to help individuals overcome mental health or health-related barriers to employment. Whether you are struggling to stay in work or looking to return to employment, WorkWell offers tailored support to guide you every step of the way.

After a referral, you will be contacted by a dedicated Journey Guide who will work with you to:

  • Complete an initial assessment and explore your support options
  • Create a personalised plan to help you retain or return to work
  • Access 1:1 coaching and barrier-breaking workshops
  • Build confidence and learn disclosure techniques
  • Find upskilling and training opportunities
  • Identify available employment opportunities
  • Understand your rights and laws in the workplace
  • Receive support for conversations with your employer
  • Make workplace adjustments and develop return-to-work plans

WorkWell is for anyone who:

  • Lives or is registered to a GP in Coventry or Warwickshire
  • Is over 16 years old
  • Has the right to work in the UK
  • Is willing to regularly engage with a Journey Guide for employment support
  • Is currently employed and struggling, or at risk of unemployment due to mental health or health-related barriers
  • Has recently become unemployed and faces barriers to returning to work

During your journey, the WorkWell team can connect you with a range of local organisations and services to ensure you receive comprehensive support for both employment and wellbeing.

How to access: You can self-refer, or be referred by a GP, employer, or support worker. Please ensure you have given informed consent before referral.

WorkWell is available for anyone who:

  • Lives or is registered to a GP within Coventry or Warwickshire
  • Is over 16
  • Has the right to work in the UK
  • Is experiencing barriers to employment due to mental health or health related barriers
  • Is willing to regularly engage with a WorkWell Journey Guide for employment related support.
