Step into Wellness is a free programme from Age UK Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly, designed for anyone over 18 who wants to improve their wellbeing. The programme is built around the NHS 5 steps to mental wellbeing and offers friendly, conversation-based sessions to help you achieve your personal goals.
Our sessions cover:
- Social Connections: Learn how building connections can reduce anxiety and depression, and help you manage emotions during challenging times.
- Activity: Discover the benefits of being active and how small changes can positively impact your physical and mental health.
- Mindfulness: Explore mindfulness techniques to help you stay present and manage stress.
- Learning & Giving: Find out how learning new skills or giving your time to help others can boost your wellbeing.
- Personal Focus: The final sessions allow you to concentrate on specific areas you want to improve, such as managing stress, sleep, motivation, or healthy eating.
We are a diverse and inclusive charity, ready to support you and signpost you to other groups or services that may interest you. Our goal is to help you widen your friendships, improve your health and self-confidence, and talk about anything that may be worrying you.
