Step into Wellness is a free programme from Age UK Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly, designed for anyone over 18 who wants to improve their wellbeing. Built around the NHS 5 steps to mental wellbeing, our friendly, conversation-based sessions help you explore ways to boost your health, self-confidence, and social connections.
What to expect:
- Social Connections: Learn how building friendships and connecting with others can reduce anxiety and depression.
- Activity: Discover simple ways to get active and the positive impact this can have on your physical and mental health.
- Mindfulness: Practice being present and learn techniques to manage stress and see life more clearly.
- Learning & Giving: Explore how learning new skills or helping others can improve your wellbeing.
- Personal Focus: The final sessions let you concentrate on areas you want to improve, such as managing stress, sleep, motivation, or healthy eating.
We are a diverse and inclusive charity, ready to support you and signpost you to other groups or services that may help. Our team is here to help you take positive steps towards better wellbeing.
Upcoming courses are held in various locations across Cornwall, including Liskeard, Callington, Redruth, Falmouth, and Newquay. If there isn’t a course near you, please get in touch so we can plan future sessions in your area.
