**Connecting Muslim Mums Wellbeing Programme**
**Overview:**
Join our unique six-week wellbeing programme specifically designed for Muslim mums. This initiative, organized by The Lantern Initiative and CPSL Mind’s Perinatal Service, blends faith-based and culturally sensitive content.
**Eligibility:**
This programme is open to Muslim mothers who are pregnant or have a child under two years of age.
**Session Details:**
- **Format:**
- **In-Person:** Sessions take place in Peterborough with childcare provided for your little ones.
- **Online:** Available via Zoom for participants in Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire.
- **Content Focus:**
- Breathing exercises, Islamic mindfulness, and drawing inspiration from the names of Allah.
- Key discussions on attachment, self-esteem, nutrition, exercise, self-kindness, and understanding postnatal depression.
**Additional Support Groups:**
- **Mindful Muslim Mums:** An informal peer support group that meets bi-weekly in Peterborough. Attendance is flexible, with no commitment to fixed sessions.
- **One-to-One Support:** Available from specialist Project Workers and peers, either in-person, by phone, or via Zoom. You can request a Muslim or non-Muslim Project Worker. Multi-lingual support is offered in Urdu, Mirpuri, Arabic, Gujarati, Kutchi, Farsi, and English.

- **Referrals:** You may also ask a professional (GP, health visitor, social worker, midwife) to refer you.
