The Treetops Hospice offers bereavement support and counselling services for all individuals who are users of our services or registered with a GP practice in Derby city or Southern Derbyshire. Our team consists of qualified counsellors, student counsellors, and trained bereavement support volunteers who provide compassionate care to those who have experienced loss from any cause.
**Service Details:**
- **Eligibility**: Open to Treetops Hospice service users and individuals registered with GP practices in Derby city or Southern Derbyshire.
- **Cost**: All services are provided free of charge and are not means-tested.
- **Support Offered**: One-on-one counselling sessions focus on helping individuals cope with their unique experiences of grief, which may include a range of physical and emotional symptoms.
**How It Works:**
- Access to the adult bereavement service is available solely through self-referral.
- To initiate support, please call us at **0115 949 6944** during our operating hours:
- **Monday-Thursday**: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- **Friday**: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- After your call, we will arrange an assessment to discuss the most suitable form of support tailored to your needs.
You can seek support whenever you feel ready, whether it is weeks, months, or years following your loss. Our aim is to offer assistance as long as you and your support worker find it beneficial.
