Rame Community Kitchen is a welcoming community project dedicated to supporting local people with access to healthy, low-cost food. Launched during the pandemic, it has grown into much more than a community larder, now offering a cookbook, cooking classes, and a partnership with an outdoor education and community garden.
What we offer:
- Low-cost food supplies for anyone experiencing food insecurity. There is no means testing – everyone is welcome.
- A good store of ambient, chilled, and frozen foods available to members. Simply pop along, sign up, and help yourself to the food available.
- Minimum cost of £1 per bag of shopping.
- Open every Wednesday from 1-3pm.
- Located in a container in the grounds of Millbrook Football Club.
- Run by dedicated volunteers from the local community.
- Cookbook and cooking classes to help you make the most of your food and learn new skills.
- Community garden partnership to encourage growing your own food.
How to access:
- Just visit during opening hours and sign up as a member.
- For more information, you can pop into the Rame Centre in Millbrook or call 01752 658516.
