Medway Voluntary Action (MVA) is a charity with over 35 years of experience supporting voluntary, community, social enterprise, and faith sector (VCSEF) organisations and groups in Kent and Medway.
We offer a wide range of free resources, advice, and support to help organisations thrive, including:
- Developing skills and people – Training opportunities for organisations and individual learners across Kent, Medway, and the South East.
- Building capacity and resources – Guidance to help your group grow and access new funding pathways.
- Bringing communities together – Networks and events to connect, collaborate, and share ideas.
- Amplifying your voice – Opportunities to join sector-wide initiatives and celebrate leadership.
Our services include the Medway Volunteer Network Support Hub, Medway Transformation Alumni & Alliance, Social Impact Gateway Programme, Befriending coordination, MVA Membership, Guidance & Support, Medway VCS Leaders Network, and a Calendar of Events & Activities for local groups.
We are committed to empowering Medway’s VCSEF sector with free, easy-to-access resources, information, and support. Whether you are looking to develop your team, find funding, or connect with others, MVA is here to help.
All support is free for VCSEF organisations and groups in Medway and Kent.
Our free services are available to local charitable organisations, CIC's, CIO's non-profit and local community groups supporting people living in Medway.
