Stop smoking for good is a Buckinghamshire stop-smoking service delivered by Maximus UK under the Be Healthy Bucks programme. If you’re aged 12 or over and live in Buckinghamshire (or are registered with a Buckinghamshire GP), you could be eligible for 8–12 weeks of FREE, personalised support to help you quit for good. Our trained health and wellbeing coaches specialise in behaviour change and understand how challenging quitting can be. What to expect:
• Free digital, telephone, and face-to-face sessions over 8–12 weeks, plus stop-smoking aids and practical advice to maximise your chances of success.
• Regular one-to-one meetings to discuss your progress, review strategies, and tailor your plan to your needs.
• Help to identify triggers and develop coping strategies to stay smoke-free.
• Access to workbook resources and the Be Healthy Bucks app (AmaraHealth) to track progress; your advisor can link this to your Be Healthy Bucks profile.
• Local stop-smoking clinics in Buckinghamshire (e.g., Aylesbury and Chiltern District) for face-to-face support.
• Sign-up is via the form on this page; eligibility checks include residency and age, with Milton Keynes excluded.
Cost: Free for eligible Buckinghamshire residents.
Who it’s for: People aged 12+ who live in Buckinghamshire or are registered with a Buckinghamshire GP. If you are not a Buckinghamshire resident, or if you only want to cut down rather than quit, you may not be eligible.
How to access: Complete the online form on this page to start; you will be invited to an initial stop-smoking session to discuss your quit plan and work through the available treatments and support options.
