Get free, friendly support to keep your home warm and cut your energy bills.

PECT’s Energy Advice Service helps residents in Fenland, Huntingdonshire, Cambridge City, and East Cambridgeshire to maintain warmer, healthier homes and reduce household costs—especially during the winter months. Our expert advisors offer practical guidance on saving energy, accessing grants, and making simple changes to improve comfort and wellbeing.

  • Personalised advice: Book a virtual call, visit a drop-in session at March Library, or refer yourself online for tailored support.
  • Help with funding: We’ll help you find and apply for grants and financial support to improve your home’s energy efficiency or clear energy debt.
  • Health and wellbeing: Stay safe and healthy in cold weather, with advice based on NHS recommendations and local expertise.
  • Training for professionals: Free online training for frontline workers in the East of England, equipping you to support vulnerable and low-income households affected by fuel poverty.

Our service is free and confidential, delivered in partnership with Cambridgeshire ACRE and Cambridge City Council, and funded by the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme.
