Live Well Walk More is Leicester’s free walking group programme run by Leicester City Council’s Live Well service. It offers volunteer-led health walks across the city, with routes to suit all levels of fitness and a timetable that includes short, medium and long walks in areas such as Beaumont Leys, the city centre and beyond. The weekly timetable features venues including Beaumont Leys Library (Monday 10:00), Hamilton Library (Monday 11:30), Aylestone Leisure Centre (Tuesday 11:00), Cossington Street Sports Centre (Wednesday 11:00), Highfields Library (Wednesday 11:00), Braunstone/The Grove community hub (Thursday 10:00) and Rushey Mead Recreation Centre (Friday 10:00), with another weekly walk at Town Hall Square (Friday 12:30). There are also family-friendly buggy walks once a month, starting at the Peppercorn Café at Abbey Park, which include storytelling, arts and crafts and free hot drinks.
