Mortlake Tapestry Project

Join the Mortlake Tapestry Group and help create a new tapestry for the 21st century!

This exciting community project, organised by Mortlake Community Association, aims to design and stitch a tapestry that reflects modern Mortlake. Led by a professional embroidery tutor from the Royal School of Needlework, the group welcomes anyone interested in embroidery, needlework, or local history.

  • Meetings: Last Tuesday of every month, 10:30am – 12noon
  • Location: Mortlake Hall, St Mary’s Rooms, St Mary’s Church, Mortlake High Street, London SW14 8JA
  • Guidance: Professional tuition provided
  • All skill levels welcome – beginners and experienced stitchers alike
