The Avenue Club at Kew Community Trust offers a vibrant timetable of classes, activities, and social events for adults in the local community. Whether you’re looking to get active, learn something new, meet others, or simply enjoy a friendly lunch, there’s something for everyone.
Classes run Monday to Friday and include:
- Exercise and fitness: Pilates, Zumba, Yoga, Tai Chi, Seated Exercises, Strength and Impact, Balance & Agility, Low Impact Aerobics, Walking Group, Table Tennis, Line Dancing
- Creative and learning: Art, Art History, Mosaic Art, Creative Writing, Knit & Stitch, Choir, Ukulele, Book Club, Film Club, History Lectures, Italian, Spanish, French, IT Clinic
- Social and wellbeing: Men’s Wellbeing, Rummikubs, Bridge, 2 Course Lunch, Hairdressing, Chiropody
Costs: Most classes are pay-as-you-go, ranging from £5 to £15 per session. Some activities, such as Book Club, Rummikubs, Knit & Stitch, and IT Clinic, are free. Lunch is available for £6. Some sessions (e.g. Strength and Impact, Hairdressing, Chiropody, Ukulele) are paid directly to the instructor or practitioner.

Location: All activities take place at The Avenue Club, Kew Community Centre, St Luke’s in The Avenue, Kew, Richmond, Surrey TW9 2AJ.
Who can attend? The club is open to adults in the community. Some activities may be especially suitable for older adults or those seeking gentle exercise, social connection, or creative engagement.
