Men's Wellbeing

The Avenue Club at Kew Community Trust offers a vibrant timetable of classes, activities, and social events for adults in the local community. Whether you’re looking to get active, learn something new, meet others, or simply enjoy a friendly atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.

Weekly activities include:

  • Exercise classes: Zumba, Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, Seated Exercises, Stretch and Strengthen, Balance & Agility, Low Impact Aerobics, and Strength and Impact (by appointment).
  • Creative and learning sessions: Art History, Art, Mosaic Art, Creative Writing, Knit & Stitch, Choir, Ukulele, Book Club, Film Club, History Lectures, Italian and Spanish language classes, and French.
  • Social and wellbeing: Men’s Wellbeing, Walking Group, Table Tennis, Bridge, Rummikubs, and 2 Course Lunch.
  • Practical support: IT Clinic (free), Chiropody (by appointment), Hairdressing (by appointment).

How it works:

  • Most classes are held at The Avenue Club, Kew Community Centre, St Luke’s in The Avenue, Kew, TW9 2AJ.
  • Sessions cost between £5 and £10 on a pay-as-you-go basis. Some activities, such as Book Club, Rummikubs, Knit & Stitch, and IT Clinic, are free. Table Tennis and Walking Group are donation-based.
  • Some services (Strength and Impact, Chiropody, Hairdressing, Ukulele) are paid directly to the instructor or practitioner.
  • New attendees: Please contact the office before your first visit to check availability and discuss any access needs.
