Seated Exercises

The Avenue Club at Kew Community Trust offers a vibrant weekly timetable of classes, activities, and social events for adults in the local community. Whether you’re looking to get active, learn something new, meet others, or simply enjoy a friendly lunch, there’s something for everyone.

Classes run Monday to Friday and include:

  • Exercise and fitness: Zumba, Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, Seated Exercises, Strength and Impact, Balance & Agility, Low Impact Aerobics, Walking Group, Table Tennis, Line Dancing
  • Creative and learning: Art History, Art, Mosaic Art, Creative Writing, Choir, Ukulele, Knit & Stitch, Book Club, Film Club, History Lectures, IT Clinic, Spanish, Italian, French
  • Social and wellbeing: Men’s Wellbeing, Rummikubs, Bridge, 2 Course Lunch, Hairdressing, Chiropody

Costs: Most classes are pay-as-you-go, ranging from £5 to £15 per session. Some activities, such as Book Club, Rummikubs, Knit & Stitch, and IT Clinic, are free. Table Tennis and Walking Group are donation-based. Please pay instructors or practitioners directly for some specialist sessions (e.g. Strength and Impact, Chiropody, Hairdressing).

How to join: If you’re attending for the first time, please contact the office on 020 8948 8807 to check availability and get started. The club is welcoming and open to adults of all backgrounds and abilities.

Location: All classes are held at The Avenue Club, Kew Community Centre, St Luke’s in The Avenue, Kew, Richmond, Surrey TW9 2AJ.
