FSN Charity is dedicated to providing caring, professional support for children, young people, and families facing poverty, disadvantage, neglect, and abuse in Hastings, St Leonards on Sea, and East Sussex.
Our mission is to alleviate poverty, disadvantage, discrimination, and social exclusion by offering a wide range of services and projects that promote equality, participation, and community wellbeing.
Key services and projects include:
- The Hub: A safe, non-judgmental space for families living in temporary or inappropriate accommodation.
- Bexhill Youth Project: A fun, creative youth club led by young people, focusing on their needs and interests.
- Dragonflies Bereavement Project: Peer support for children and young people aged 5-18, offering pre-bereavement and bereavement support.
- Health and Wellbeing Community Hubs: Promoting five ways to wellbeing for all ages.
- My Time: Peer support for children aged 5-15 to help them cope with emotional wellbeing, loss, or separation.
- Adult Learning: Courses and workshops to support adult education and personal development.
- PACT (Parents and Children Together): Training parents and carers to support other families with their children's learning.
FSN also operates nurseries and community centres across St Leonards on Sea and Hastings, providing safe spaces for learning, play, and support.
