Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch & Wyre Forest offers a Community Foot Care service in Redditch, designed for people over 50 who are in general good health but find it difficult to look after their feet.
Our trained Foot Care assistants provide a basic toenail cutting service at the YMCA Willow Trees Community Centre. Good foot care is essential for mobility and wellbeing, and our service helps prevent serious problems and reduces the risk of trips and falls.
- Initial appointment: 30 minutes, one-off charge of £30 (includes a Personal Foot Care Kit, advice and information pack, and footwear advice).
- Follow-up appointments: £15 per session, each lasting around 20 minutes, typically every 8 weeks.
