Memory Matters is a friendly, supportive cognitive stimulation therapy group for people living with mild dementia or memory problems. You do not need a formal diagnosis to attend.
What is Memory Matters?
- A 14-week programme of activities, stimulation, music, and fun designed to help maintain memory and wellbeing.
- Weekly sessions run on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30am to 2:30pm at The Marigold Centre in Folkestone.
- Group membership is limited to 10 participants, ensuring a welcoming and personal atmosphere.
Who can join?
- Anyone living with mild dementia or memory problems.
- No formal diagnosis required.
- Members must be able to participate in activities, manage their own personal care, and be willing to join in with the group.
How much does it cost?
- £17.50 per day, including refreshments and lunch.
- Free half-day taster sessions are available for new members.
