The Specialist Huntington’s Disease Advisory Service from the Huntington's Disease Association offers expert, compassionate support for anyone affected by Huntington’s disease across England and Wales.

Our experienced advisers provide tailored advice and emotional support to individuals living with Huntington’s disease, those at risk, family members, carers, children, young people, and even friends, employers, and medical teams. We understand that Huntington’s disease impacts whole families, and our service is designed to help at every stage of the journey.

  • Advice and emotional support for people living with Huntington’s disease and their families
  • Confidential telephone helpline available Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
  • Support for young people with Juvenile Huntington’s disease through a dedicated adviser
  • Advocacy to help you access the best possible care and support
  • Communication with medical, health, and social care professionals
  • Education for professionals to improve diagnosis and ongoing care
  • Organisation and attendance at local support networks and carers’ group meetings
  • Information resources on symptoms and management
  • Connection to our Youth Engagement Service (HDYES) for younger family members
  • Support for sensitive end-of-life care

We also offer Language Line interpreting for those who prefer to speak in another language—just call our helpline and request this free service.
