Falls Prevention

FallsFree4Life is a dedicated falls prevention service for adults aged 60 and over, designed to help you stay independent, active, and confident. Falls are a leading cause of injury among older adults, but with the right support, many falls can be prevented.

Our friendly team of Wellness Coaches reaches out into the community to identify those at risk—often before they even realise it. We offer a comprehensive, free assessment to understand your individual risk factors and work with you and your family to create a personalised support plan.

  • Falls self-confidence test
  • Basic questionnaire assessment
  • Footwear and foot care assessment
  • Falls Free referral tool
  • Quantitative Timed Up and Go (QTUG) test to determine your risk level
  • Home risk assessment

As part of your support package, you’ll be offered free strength and balance exercise classes to help you build confidence, improve mobility, and reduce your risk of falling. Our classes are welcoming and supportive, and many participants find new friends and a renewed sense of independence.

What our participants say:

“Since coming to the FallsFree4Life classes I’m more confident when I go out. It has helped me with my balance and tripping. It has also helped me leave the house and met many friends. The instructors are excellent, very friendly and helpful.”
