The AL-ANON Family Groups session is held at The Old Needle Works Foundation on Tuesdays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. The meetings are for all those affected by someone else's drinking and you are welcome to all meetings, please be aware however that some additional meetings may also be attended by professionals e.g. medical, educational or others interested in how Al-Anon works.
The meeting sessions are provided and facilitated by Al-Anon Family Groups UK & Eire; they are for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else’s drinking.
The friendly Al-Anon helpline volunteers, who are all Al-Anon members, are available 365 days a year to answer questions in complete confidence. You are more than welcome to simply turn up to an Al-Anon meeting.
Residents of the UK can call 0800 0086 811 (10 am to 10 pm, seven days a week) for further information before attending a group if they wish, although you can just turn up.
For further information, you can also contact The Old Needle Works on 01527 69100.
This opportunity is open to members of the community, over the age of 18, who have been affected by someone else's drinking. Please feel free to contact The Old Needle Works Foundation by phone (01527 69100) or email (info@theoldneedleworks.co.uk) for any further details.
