Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering offers free Digital Support Classes to help local older people build confidence and skills with technology.
Our friendly Digital Champions provide both one-to-one and group training sessions, supporting you to use devices such as tablets, smartphones, and computers. Whether you are a complete beginner or want to brush up on your digital skills, we are here to help you get the most from the internet and digital services.
- Tablet Loan Scheme: Borrow a tablet for free and explore the internet at your own pace, with support from our team.
- Training Opportunities: Learn how to use your device, browse the web, and stay connected with friends and family.
- Volunteering: Become a volunteer Digital Champion and help others gain digital confidence. No need to be a tech expert—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help!
Our classes are available in various local venues within the Redbridge, Barking & Havering area. 1:1 home visits also optional. 6 week courses. This service is completely free and designed to make technology accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
