Progress Theatre is a vibrant, volunteer-led theatre in Reading, offering a diverse programme of plays, live music, youth theatre, and creative events throughout the year.
Our upcoming season features exciting productions such as Titus Andronicus (29 Sep - 4 Oct 2025), a bold reimagining of Shakespeare's bloodiest play, and regular jazz nights including Chris Biscoe's Profiles Quartet (10 Oct). We also host adaptations of classic literature, such as Tess of the d'Urbervilles, and special events with renowned musicians.
Progress Youth Theatre provides workshops, age-group activities, and opportunities for young people to develop their skills in drama and performance, supported by experienced youth leaders. We welcome new members, writers, and volunteers to get involved in all aspects of theatre production, from acting and directing to art, design, and fundraising.
