Counselling

At Need To Talk, our mission is to provide safe, affordable, and accessible counselling to individuals, couples, families, and organisations. We are committed to:

Accessibility – Offering affordable counselling sessions so that cost is never a barrier to support.
Quality Support – Providing a safe, non-judgemental space with trained counsellors who respect each person’s values, culture, and identity.
Early Intervention – Collaborating with schools and community partners to make emotional and mental health support available at the earliest possible stage.
Education & Training – Delivering counselling skills courses and tailored training for organisations to improve communication, boundaries, empathy, and self-care among staff and volunteers.
Empowerment – Helping clients explore their feelings, build resilience, and make positive changes in their lives.
Community Impact – Reaching those who are most vulnerable, including survivors of domestic abuse, young people, and carers, to ensure they are not left behind.
Support for Counsellors-in-Training – Offering placement opportunities and affordable sessions led by trainee counsellors to support both professional development and wider community access to counselling.
