SDCE offers free home visits for South Hams residents, during which a trained Home Energy Advisor can assist with a wide range of issues - including energy debt, damp and mould, feeling cold at home/ can't afford to use heating, basic repairs/ improvements to make the home warmer, broken boiler, replacement appliances and onward referals for additional support.
As we visit the client in their own home (although we can offer advice and support over the phone if preferred), we often identify issues that have not been previously identified by other services.
