Open Door Exmouth

Open Door Exmouth is a welcoming, multi-service charity at the heart of the Exmouth community since 1995. We are dedicated to combating isolation and poverty, developing skills, promoting positive mental health and wellbeing, and compassionately supporting those most in need.

Our services are open to all ages and include:

  • Community Café: A warm, friendly space offering food, drink, and social connection for all ages.
  • Community Fridge: Access to free food for those in need, helping to reduce food waste and support local families.
  • Craft Room & Craft Café: Creative sessions that bring people together for art, conversation, and cups of tea.
  • Men’s Shed: A social space for men to share and learn practical skills, work on community projects, and build friendships.
  • Parent Hub: A welcoming café space for parents and their little ones to access support and make new friends.
  • Youth Services: Safe, fun, and supportive spaces for young people during and after the school day.
  • Support Services: Trained support workers offer a listening ear, bespoke help, signposting, and encouragement for anyone facing challenges.

We guarantee safe and welcoming spaces across all our projects, offering quality support without judgement. Whether you need company, food, advice, or a place to belong, our door is open to you.

All services are free or low-cost and accessible to everyone in the Exmouth area. If you need urgent help, please call 999.
