Feeling lonely or isolated? Our Befriending Service is here to help you connect with others and enjoy friendly conversation, whether in person or over the phone.
We have been running our successful Befriending Network for over ten years in West Suffolk, supporting people who may be living alone or feeling cut off from their community.
What we offer:
- Face-to-face visits in your own home for a cuppa and a chat
- Telephone befriending for regular friendly calls
- Flexible support – choose the option that suits you best, or combine both
We carefully match people with volunteers who share common interests, helping rewarding friendships to develop. All our volunteers receive a full induction and undertake an Enhanced DBS check, so you can feel safe and supported.
Covid precautions and procedures are in place to keep everyone safe.
If you or someone you know would benefit from a regular friendly visit or call, please get in touch. We welcome referrals from individuals, carers, and professionals.
